    According to the donor, Ralph Bice had taken a picture of this tombstone in 1988 when he visited with Phrona Sisson and after that the cemetery got cleaned up and he was told that all the old stones were cleared out and so Simon’s tombstone got cast over the hill.
    The stone was still there in 1991 when the Haliburton Highlands Genealogy Group recorded the cemetery.
